MESSIAH
Synopsis:
Experience the Story of the Messiah Like Never Before
Before our feature presentation of all 12 episodes, we’re giving you a special sneak peek at the Eyewitness Bible Series’ powerful MESSIAH series—Episode 1: THE BIG QUESTION
In Hebrew, Anointed One is Messiah. In Greek, it’s Christ. The New Testament was written mostly in Greek, so “Christ” is the term we often see—but Jesus and His apostles spoke Hebrew and Aramaic, so when they spoke of Him, they would have said Messiah.
The first followers of Jesus—most of them Jewish—used Messiah for decades, while early Gentile Christians used Christ. From 50–70 AD, both words meant the same thing… two languages, one Savior. But who do YOU say He is?
The MESSIAH series brings these historical and biblical truths to life with vivid storytelling and stunning visuals. Over the course of 12 episodes (about 2 hours and 10 minutes total), you’ll journey through the life, mission, and meaning of Jesus as the long-awaited Anointed One. Perfect for all ages, it’s both deeply educational and spiritually inspiring.
Come see why this series is a must-watch for anyone who wants to understand the depth and beauty of who Jesus is—the Messiah.
